The Big Ten universities have renewed their agreement with National Car Rental at the same rates, terms and conditions for an additional year, through May 31, 1995.
U-M travelers should use Recap No. 5000490 so that free loss damage waiver (LDW) and primary liability coverage will be automatically provided on rentals, for both business and leisure travel, in the United States.
Minimum rental age continues to be 21 years old (with a $5 per day young driver fee). The young driver fee will be waived if the renter provides National counter personnel with a letter on University letterhead explaining that the trip is for business.
