As U-M settles into a year that will see many activities taking place in the virtual space, The University Record is resuming its print and online events calendars, mostly focusing on events that are offered online.
Units and groups sponsoring free events of interest and available to faculty and staff are encouraged to make sure they are entered in the campus events calendar, Happening @ Michigan, and that any links or information needed for online access are included.
Most events listed in the Record’s print edition will be offered online, and the listing will include a URL for their entries in Happening @ Michigan, where readers can find information about how to access the events. Any events that take place in person will be so noted.
The Record also will resume highlighting selected events on its website and in its daily email on days when events of broad interest are available. In most cases, events listed under this Coming Events feature also will be virtual.
Please send any questions about the Record’s events listings to [email protected].
For the time being, the Record’s website and daily email will continue to share Attend at Home, a feature on U-M’s Arts & Culture website to highlight various virtual U-M events and exhibitions.
The Attend at Home feature is compiled and curated separately from Happening @ Michigan or the Record. For information or answers to questions about Attend at Home, please email [email protected].
