Volunteers are needed to welcome guests, assist attendees with limited mobility by pushing wheelchairs and driving golf carts, answer guests’ questions and other responsibilities.
Staff, faculty, students, retirees and alumni are invited to sign up to volunteer for the ceremony. The shift runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Volunteers must attend one of three orientation sessions, scheduled for April 29 and 30, at the Junge Family Champions Center next to the stadium.
Those who volunteer will receive a T-shirt and the chance to win prizes that include a set of four tickets to the 2019 U-M football home-opener game or gift cards to various restaurants and businesses.
