The campus community can expect delays as the city of Ann Arbor continues necessary bridge maintenance on Fuller Road through early October.
Construction was originally scheduled to be complete this summer.
Parking and Transportation Service officials are encouraging community members to allow extra time when traveling from North Campus to Central Campus, to and from the U-M Hospitals and Health Centers, and through the Glen Avenue and Fuller Road corridor.
Additionally, U-M bus riders are encouraged to consider taking an earlier bus when traveling through this corridor.
Work will take place on the Fuller Road bridge over the railroad on the west side of the hospital. One lane of traffic on Fuller Road will be maintained in each direction at all times.
Maiden Lane and East Medical Center Drive bridges will remain fully open to traffic.
Pedestrian traffic will be maintained at all times during construction.

Taking an earlier bus is not the solution! I take the early bus, traffic is a mess at 0600.

With Geddies closed until November, work on Washtenaw Ave at Palmer Commons, and move-in traffic, expect more than delays. Just hope you don’t need emergency medical help at the UM Hospital.
