UM-Dearborn highly engaged in community
The 2nd Annual Engagement Inventory demonstrates that the UM-Dearborn campus is highly engaged and active in the metropolitan community. Through July 2012-July 2013, faculty reported engaging 3,332 students. Staff reported engaging 2,126 students. Cumulatively, faculty and staff engaged students with 80 different community partners. Out of all of these activities, 87 percent took place in the metro Detroit area, with almost 40 percent of the community-based activities taking place in Dearborn and Detroit.
