U-M aims to defend title in Big Ten Data Viz Championship

Voting is now open in the Big Ten Academic Alliance 2025 Data Visualization Championship as the University of Michigan aims to defend its title. 

Faculty, staff and students may vote for the top data visualizations in the student and faculty/staff categories. The deadline for casting votes is 1 p.m. Feb. 14.

U-M’s contenders in this year’s competition include Isabella DeMino, an evaluation specialist in the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention, and Amy Lee, an undergraduate student in LSA.

The competition is a highlight of Love Data Week, an international event celebrating the significance of data management and visualization. Participants were tasked with creating compelling data visualizations that would compete against entries from other Big Ten institutions.
