Awards

Dr. Mark Chiang, assistant professor of internal medicine, Medical School, will receive a $2,500 award from the National Marrow Donor Program. To help mark its 25th anniversary and facilitation of 50,000 transplants, awards are being provided to authors of the highest-scoring abstracts. Chiang’s was “Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia – Biology & Pathophysiology.”

Dana Muir, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Business Law, Stephen M. Ross School of Business, has been selected as a 2011 fellow by The American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. Each nominee has focused on employee benefits law for at least 20 years and demonstrated a commitment to public awareness and understanding of benefits laws through writing, speaking, public policy analysis, public education or public service.
