This week in history (18 years ago)A $500,000 contribution from CBS correspondent and U-M alumnus Mike Wallace to purchase a home for the Journalism Fellows Program, known today as the Knight-Wallace Fellows at Michigan, capped a standout year for the program’s fund-raising efforts. The Mike and Mary Wallace House at 620 Oxford St., built in 1911, houses the administrative offices of the program and presents weekly seminars and special events throughout the year. — The University Record Have a campus memory to share?
