Award
President Mary Sue Coleman was presented with an Alumni Award by Grinnell College in Iowa during its recent Alumni Reunion Weekend. Alumni Award winners have distinguished themselves in their careers and communities and embody Grinnell’s mission of lifelong learning and service. The 1965 graduate was cited for using the tools of higher education to provide greater opportunity to all, from her work as a researcher to her current post as president of one of the nation’s largest public universities.
