UM-Flint’s RN-to-BSN nursing program expands

UM-Flint has added a fifth off-campus location this semester for its RN-to-BSN program. The program, designed for registered nurses to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, now is available at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. Students take a combination of online courses and meet at the medical center once a month for class. UM-Flint also offers the studies at Alpena Community College, St. Clair County Community College, Lansing Community College and Wayne County Community College.

Regents meeting set for Dec. 18

The Board of Regents will have its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. Dec. 18 in the Anderson Room, Michigan Union. To offer public comment at the meeting, sign up in advance at www.regents.umich.edu/meetings/publform.html. Public comments on agenda items will be taken prior to their consideration. Comments on nonagenda items will follow the regular business agenda. Record print and email editions on hiatus over break

Dec. 15 will be the last issue of The University Record’s print and email editions before going on hiatus for winter break. Major campus news that occurs during the break may be posted to the Record website at record.umich.edu. The Record email will resume Jan. 6, and the next print edition will be Jan. 12.
