Economics lecturer Edward Cho honored with Golden Apple Award

In honor of his engaging teaching style and care for students, LSA economics lecturer Edward Cho has been selected to receive the 27th annual Golden Apple Award, which annually recognizes one professor for outstanding teaching and is the university’s only teaching award given by students.

IT leader Edward Happ to head two new information centers at UMSI

The School of Information will establish two new information centers to improve communications infrastructure in underserved communities and advance data usage by organizations in those areas. The centers will be designed and managed by Edward Happ, newly appointed Executive Fellow at UMSI.


ITS suggests checking password security with time change

Information and Technology Services officials suggest that when people change their clocks to Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, it also is a good time to review password security. This includes considering the use of two-factor authentication to provide an additional safeguard for personal information.
