School of Information dean and wife pledge $2.5M gift to U-M
School of Information dean Jeffrey MacKie-Mason and his wife, Janet Netz, have committed to a gift of $2.5 million to the school. The gift is among the largest made by a dean at the University of Michigan to his or her school or college.

Enrollment and freshman applications hit record at U-M Ann Arbor
Enrollment at the Ann Arbor campus has set an all-time record for the fifth consecutive year, with 43,710 students in fall 2013, a 0.7 percent increase from the previous year. Undergraduate enrollment grew by 1.1 percent, and the number of graduate/professional students fell by 0.1 percent. Freshman applications were up 10 percent, to a record 46,813.
