   New policy outlines research data stewardship expectations

   The university has created a new policy, effective Jan. 1, 2024, setting expectations and guidance for research data stewardship, focusing on issues of ownership, sharing and retention.

   New rule expands public access to federally funded research

   The University Library, Office of the Vice President for Research and other units are developing and expanding their resources and services to better support the publishing and data management needs of the U-M community.

3. June 15, 2022

   Data stewardship initiative supports research community

   The Office of the Vice President for Research is launching a Research Data Stewardship Initiative to ensure researchers across U-M are better positioned to equitably and securely share their research data.
