   Arts Initiative announces demonstration projects launching this fall

   U-M’s Arts Initiative continues to move forward exploring new models for students, faculty and staff to work within the arts with new demonstration projects set to launch this fall.

   Anthony Kolenic named director of Matthaei-Nichols

   Anthony J. Kolenic will become director of the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum. Kolenic’s five-year appointment is effective March 1, 2021, and he succeeds Bob Grese, who retired in June 2020.

   Town hall to focus on integration of arts, humanities and STEMM

   A daylong town hall meeting is set for May 28 to discuss opportunities for arts integration on campus, one of similar gatherings across the country in recent months.
