Regents to consider four top administrative appointments

The Board of Regents will consider recommendations to appoint deans of LSA and the College of Pharmacy, a UM-Flint chancellor and a vice provost for equity, inclusion and academic affairs at its meeting Thursday.

The recommendations are:

Andrew D. Martin as dean of LSA. Martin is the Charles Nagel Chair of Constitutional Law and Political Science and vice dean in the School of Law at Washington University in St. Louis.

Susan E. Borrego as the eighth leader of UM-Flint. Borrego currently serves as the vice president for enrollment management, planning, and student affairs at California State University, Dominguez Hills.

James Dalton, a former professor of pharmaceutical chemistry now leading research and development efforts in the pharmaceutical industry, as the next dean of the College of Pharmacy.

Robert M. Sellers, chair of the Department of Psychology since 2011, to fill the position of vice provost for equity, inclusion and academic affairs.
