Suspect still sought in assaults
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) continues to search for a suspect involved in several reports of inappropriate touching April 18 near the C.C.Little Building.
Two women told police an unknown man approached them and tried to talk with them and rub their arms. He also reportedly grabbed their buttocks. Three other women told police that a man matching the same description also had approached them and grabbed their arms. All of the incidents reportedly occurred between 1 and 3 a.m.
Police issued a crime alert April 18 with a description of a Latino male, in his early 20s, 6 feet tall with a thin build, roundish face and dark, curly hair. He last was seen wearing a dark, long-sleeve pullover shirt and blue jeans. A composite rendering of the suspect is shown here.

Law quad door damaged
A resident of the Law Quadrangle reported to DPS that his room door had been broken sometime between 10:30 p.m. April 22 and 9:30 a.m. April 23. A panel in the door was broken out and found on the floor inside the room. There was no other evidence of forced entry and the resident did not find anything missing from his room.
Moped taken from Ross School
A student told DPS that his 1977 moped was taken April 17. He had left it parked near the bicycle rack at the Ross School of Business around 2 p.m. and it was missing when he returned at 8 p.m.
Bursley cubicle damaged
A small burn mark was found April 30 on a cloth attached to a cubicle in Bursley Hall. It appeared to have been caused by a lighter, but no one knew when it occurred.
Graffiti incidents include ethnic slurs
Several vehicles parked near the Central Campus (in the area of Packard and State streets) reportedly were spray-painted by one or more vandals April 16. Additionally, graffiti was found on three campus buildings U+00E2U+0080U+0093 Administrative Services, Buhr Building and Fletcher Hall. Orange, blue and green spray paint was used. Some of the vehicle markings included ethnic slurs.
