Photo: UMS presents Odalan Bali Oct. 19 at Hill

The Balinese music and dance ensemble Cudamani presents ‘Odalan Bali’ at 8 p.m., Oct. 19 in Hill Auditorium. Inspired by Bali’s timeless cycles of ceremony and ritual, Cudamani’s work transports the audience from the everyday world with emotion and energy. An exquisite synthesis of music, drama and movement, the show captures the splendor of the Balinese temple festival. Sponsored by the University Musical Society, 764-2538.
