Photo: U solar racer heats up

Continuum, which boasts cutting edge solar car technology, is competing this week in the Panasonic World Solar Challenge in Australia. U-M students on the team developed a “solar concentrator system,” which uses U-shaped mirrors to track the sun throughout the day and intensify its rays.
