Martha Pollack, professor and dean at the School of Information, discusses age longevity differences according to gender and the resulting assistive care implications during a talk on “Intelligent Assistive Technology: The Present and the Future” at the Biomedical Science Research Building Auditorium. Pollack discussed the increasing role of technology and electronics in assisting people with varying levels of cognitive impairment.
