Photo: Package triggers evacuation

Officer John-Mark Branch, of the Department of Public Safety, directs pedestrian traffic after reports of a suspicious package left on a bus closed North University for several hours. Authorities evacuated the U-M Commuter Bus and nearby Ruthven Museum during the Nov. 13 incident. The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad determined the package contained engine parts. Other agencies assisting the investigation include the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Ann Arbor Fire Department, Huron Valley Ambulance and U.S. Postal inspectors.
