Photo: Kay honored

Regent Olivia Maynard presents U-M-Flint Interim Chancellor Jack Kay with a resolution to honor him for his service and contributions. “Under his leadership, the campus has thrived,” the resolution states. It cites his many accomplishments, including construction of the campus’ first residence hall, overseeing establishment of Genesee Early College and an overall 5-percent increase in enrollment. Kay has served as interim chancellor since September 2005. Ruth Person, chancellor of Indiana University Kokomo, will become the seventh chancellor at U-M-Flint Aug. 18. (Photo by Jillian Bogater)
