“East Side Sweet Evelyn, New York City, 1938,” is among photos featured in the Institute for the Humanities exhibit “Looks Given/Looks Taken: Jews & Urban Photography,” March 10-May 16 at the institute, 202 S. Thayer, Room 1010. An opening reception is scheduled for 4:30-6 p.m. March 19 with a gallery talk by curators Deborah Dash Moore and MacDonald Moore at 5:15 p.m. The exhibit is supported in part by the Efroymson Fund, a CICF Fund.
