Open Enrollment begins

Faculty and staff can review or make changes to their benefits packages for 2009 by logging into Wolverine Access beginning Oct. 13 until 5 p.m. on Oct. 24. Retirees can change their benefit elections by completing and returning the form in the back of their Open Enrollment books.

The books, which contain plan descriptions and rates, have been mailed to employees’ campus addresses, and retirees received Open Enrollment books at home addresses in September. They also are available on the Benefits Office Web site, benefits.umich.edu.

No action is required if no benefit changes are needed, however, faculty members, staff and retirees are encouraged to review updated plan and rate information and make sure their current elections continue to meet individual needs.
