MHealthy Rewards returns with incentive to fill out questionnaire

U-M’s annual health and well-being incentive program, MHealthy Rewards, has returned after a three-year absence.

For 2023, the focus is on learning about one’s health by completing the annual health questionnaire. Active, benefits-eligible faculty and staff who take the confidential HQ by May 31 will earn a $75 reward.

In 2019, more than 20,000 employees participated in the program.

“U-M recognizes the role health and well-being plays in our ability to thrive both at work and at home,” said Karen Schmidt, senior director of MHealthy. “Many of us want to get back on track, and the HQ is a tool to help you check in on your well-being.”

The health questionnaire takes about 10 minutes to complete. Based on their responses, participants will be able to:

  • Identify which well-being areas are thriving.
  • Learn what well-being areas may need attention.
  • Get a personalized list of recommendations for programs and resources that can support their current health needs. The list could include services related to mental and emotional well-being, financial well-being, sleep, nutrition, alcohol and more.
  • Set a health goal.

The confidential health questionnaire is available on the MHealthy Portal, powered by Asset Health, through May 31. The MHealthy Portal is available to active, benefits-eligible faculty and staff through the end of the year and includes an entire suite of resources to support their well-being journey.

U-M has partnered with Asset Health to ensure personal information is kept confidential.
