Some areas of campus are expected to be affected over the next few weeks by road closures related to utility work.

Murfin Avenue on North Campus is closed between Bonisteel Boulevard and Hayward Street through the end of the month.

Northbound through traffic will be detoured via Bonisteel to Beal to Hayward, while southbound traffic will be detoured via Hayward to Beal to Bonisteel.

Local access to the Pierpont Commons circle drive and the NC27 parking lot will be maintained from the south on Murfin. Local access to the Bursley Hall south circle drive will be maintained from the west via Baits Drive to Duffield Street.

On Central Campus, the northbound lane of Thompson Street between East Madison and East Jefferson streets is currently closed and expected to remain so into early August.

Northbound traffic will be detoured via Packard Street to Division Street to Jefferson and back to Thompson. Drivers will continue to have access to the Thompson Street Parking Structure.

On the Medical Campus, Maiden Lane also is currently closed for the next few weeks. The closure is in both directions between Plymouth Road and Nielsen Court.

Northbound Maiden Lane traffic will be detoured to Plymouth via Fuller Street and Huron Parkway, while southbound traffic from Plymouth will be detoured north on Moore Street, south on Pontiac Trail, south on Swift Street and north on Broadway Street to Wall Street.

Access to the Wall Street West Parking Structure will be maintained via Wall Street, and drivers will still be able to exit right out of the structure onto Maiden Lane.
