The search has ended for a U-M student considered a person of interest in a Jan. 16 off-campus fatal shooting in the 1500 block of Jones Drive, near Plymouth Road, according to the Ann Arbor Police Department (AAPD).

Andrew Robert Myrick, 28, turned himself into police Jan. 24 and was arraigned on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and an outstanding bench warrant. He was released on personal bond. The AAPD investigation of the shooting continues.

A person described as a visitor to Myrick’s home was fatally shot in the incident that occurred around 9:30 p.m., Jan. 16th.

Police also are still looking for Ypsilanti resident Michael Bailey, who is described as a black male, 20 years old, 5 feet 11 inches, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on the whereabouts Bailey should call the AAPD at 994-2911.
