A message to faculty and staff regarding winter weather

As severe weather in the region continues, we’d like to thank the faculty and staff members who have taken extra measures to continue operations and to prepare the campus for a new semester and returning students.

Annual savings from Shared Services are forecast at $5M-$6M

The University of Michigan expects recurring savings of $5 million-$6 million a year once the Shared Services Center is fully operational with about 275 employees.

That is part of the message being shared on campus this week to help address concerns about the cost-effectiveness of the center.
