   Shayman named 2016 Distinguished University Innovator

   Dr. James A. Shayman, developer of a new class of drugs for treating a group of rare but devastating congenital disorders, has been named U-M’s Distinguished University Innovator for 2016.

   Forrest to receive 2015 Distinguished University Innovator Award

   Stephen Forrest, former vice president for research, has been selected to receive U-M’s Distinguished University Innovator Award for 2015.

   Wang honored as 2014 Distinguished University Innovator

   Shaomeng Wang, a professor in the Medical School and College of Pharmacy, has been selected to receive the Distinguished University Innovator Award for 2014.
