   Author Jesmyn Ward to deliver Winter Commencement address

   Award-winning author, Tulane University professor and MacArthur Fellow Jesmyn Ward will deliver the address at the 2017 U-M Winter Commencement on Dec. 17 in Crisler Center.

   Spring Commencement will include unique bicentennial elements

   Spring Commencement will celebrate U-M’s bicentennial-year graduates with a unique Michigan Stadium event that features voices from the past and present, Oscar-winning musicians and special alumni awards.

   Special alumni award helps highlight U-M’s past, herald its future

   The university is creating a special Bicentennial Alumni Award for its 200th year, honoring 20 people who embody the breadth and excellence of its more recent alumni.
