Camron Amin named associate provost at UM-Dearborn

Camron Michael Amin will begin a one-year appointment Jan. 1 as UM-Dearborn’s associate provost for graduate studies and online learning, overseeing the development of graduate and online programs, establishing clear policies and procedures across campus. The appointment is pending approval by the Board of Regents.

New drug cuts risk of deadly transplant side effect in half

A new class of drugs reduced the risk of patients contracting a serious and often deadly side effect of lifesaving bone marrow transplant treatments, according to a study from researchers at the Comprehensive Cancer Center.
