Shared Services Center
The SSC Contact Center can help with benefits and finance questions covering:
• Benefits programs and plans
• Change in coverage due to a life event (marriage, birth, adoption, divorce, etc.)
• COBRA administration
• HR transaction and reporting support
• Accounts payable/accounts receivable

The Shared Services Center begins offering additional services today.
Since August, the center has been handling accounts payable, accounts receivable and certain human resource-related functions, like benefits transactions.
This second major phase of implementation adds new services including statement of activity and gross pay reconciliation, time and leave administration, processing of I-9 forms for employment, and travel and expense report processing.
The university processes more than 4 million finance and HR transactions each year to support its 45,000 faculty and staff. The SSC consolidates some of those transactions with experts from academic and administrative units that now staff the center.
The SSC includes a Contact Center where faculty and staff can reach representatives for both finance and human resources by calling 734-615-2000 (866-647-7657 toll free) or by sending email to email@example.com.
