Taubman Health Sciences Library closing for renovation

Topics:

With the renovation of the A. Alfred Taubman Health Sciences Library set to begin in the new year, the building will close at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 22. The library’s usual extended exam hours will begin Sunday.

The building will reopen in mid-2015, transformed into a hub of collaborative and engaged health sciences learning and teaching.

In the meantime, Health Sciences Library collections and services remain available. The last of the remaining books were recently moved to an offsite facility, and like the rest of the print collection they can be delivered upon request to a campus office or library for pickup.

Health Sciences Library staff will be housed elsewhere on the Medical Campus, and can be reached via email or phone. As always, individual consultations and research assistance are available upon request.

Course reserves will be provided electronically where possible, and print reserve materials will be held at the Shapiro Undergraduate Library.
