Sexual assault reported at East Quad

A student reported that she had been inappropriately grabbed by an unnamed student in an East Quadrangle residence hall room in the early morning of April 9. She later stated she did not want to pursue criminal charges and was provided support resources.

Building damage reported at Stinchfield Woods

New damage was found on buildings at Stinchfield Woods in Pinckney. No property was reported to be missing. There are no suspects.

Two visitors arrested for joy riding

After police observed a small service vehicle moving erratically away from Michigan Stadium around 3 a.m. April 23, they determined the two visitors in the vehicle had taken it for an unauthorized ride. The subjects were arrested for joy riding, with the driver also arrested for operating while intoxicated. The two subjects were processed and released pending warrant authorization from the prosecutor’s office.
