Assault, indecent exposure reported at South Quad

An employee reported being inappropriately grabbed by a temporary contractor around 2 p.m. Feb. 6. The suspect reportedly also exposed himself to her later the same day. The suspect promptly was terminated. University Police are not aware of any other similar incidents involving this suspect. The investigation has been submitted to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office for review of possible charges.

Campus visitor assaulted by visitor

A visitor at the Henderson House reportedly was assaulted by an acquaintance, also a visitor, Feb. 16 between 2 and 4 a.m. The investigation is continuing.

Patient strikes hospital employees

Three employees were assaulted by a C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital patient before he could be subdued on Dec. 12.

Arson of soap dispenser found in East Quad

A burned soap dispenser was found by staff in an East Quadrangle Residence Hall restroom around 9:45 a.m. Feb. 19. No other damage was found and no injuries were reported. There are no suspects in the arson.
