UM-Dearborn graduates challenged to make a positive impact 

Richard Haddrill, executive vice chairman of Scientific Games, challenged UM-Dearborn graduates to draw upon their university experiences to lead joyful lives and make a positive impact on others. Haddrill spoke before a record number of UM-Dearborn graduates, their families and friends at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. The university conferred more than 950 degrees on Sunday.

Graduates were in a festive mood during the UM-Dearborn ceremony Sunday at Crisler Center.

 UM-Flint honors graduates at record-setting Spring Commencement

Astronaut Story Musgrave urged UM-Flint graduates to follow their passion and dreams, to continually add skill-sets, and to be creative in reaching their goals. More than 1,000 students graduated this semester, with a record number of 843 walking across the stage at Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center.

Graduates, friends and family gathered at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center.

Former space shuttle astronaut Story Musgrave delivered the commencement address at both the morning and afternoon ceremonies.

Holly Kilburn was the student speaker for UM-Flint’s afternoon ceremony.
